had to implement new processes and organizations in operational and support departments for different clients (steel, HVAC, commodities and nuclear industry). Every project begin with was an as-is study of the processes followed by the design of a to-be process to support a continuous improvement methodology and to erase useless steps. (Activity based management, PDCA, Lean, …) The continuous improvement was about increase of productivity, decrease of failure rate, decrease of delay rate for middle management, …) To implement the new processes, I had to develop dashboard to measure the current evolution of several KPI’s and design the specifications and processes for the IT systems to support the business in the continuous improvement methodology. I had to design the processes with Visio following the standard of UML and test IT connecting platform between systems. I had also to enter PHP coding to resolve bugs and made the specification of the web application regarding dashboards. I had to coach the final users and work in close collaboration with management and direction until they reach the target defined by the contract and become autonomous. The coaching process was about the weekly follow-up of KPI and meetings planned to sustain the process as for example a formal planning meeting, an approval process for work orders or Pareto analysis to defined the weekly target to reach. I reach 27%increase in productivity for a maintenance department (target was 15%), a reduction of failure rate below 4% (coming from 11%) and an increase of productivity of a production line from 52% to 65%.
