As a Social Media Strategist - Account Manager, I was responsible for the strategic brand presence on different social networks, keeping in mind the marketing and communication values of our clients. Kwiziner was a webshop of kitchen utensils and lifestyle objects, it was also a project that I ran next to my fulltime job. I stopped the shop as e-commerce is a serious business, not something you just do on a side for a bit of your time. I've learned a lot while practicing and doing, learned from failures and successes. There was no agency involved, I realized everything myself, from the setup and design of the webshop, it's CMS, payment platforms, logistic platforms, selecting brands and products, managing inventory, consumer care, online marketing (Emailing, SEO, SEA, Social, ...) up to the actual preparing goods for shipment. It allowed me to grow my online marketing skills from a very personal perspective. I did A/B testing on different target audiences, different creatives, different platforms, ... and closely watched over the ROI through conversions. This perspective is one that I still try to picture myself into when working on current clients/projects.
My role consisted in leading the development of our creative & development capabilities and assisting key clients on strategic level and creative solutions. As an Account Manager, I managed our clients and provided them strategic & creative guidance on digital (and offline) channels. I played a central role in on-boarding new clients through pitches and being focused on new opportunities with existing clients. In my role as Head of Digital Creation, I was member of the Isobar Belgium management team. Leading and mentoring a creative team on digital brand campaigns, building ideas without limits from strategy to production. My role as an Account Director on the agency’s top client: AB InBev, consisted in leading a team of Account Managers and supervising everything from strategy to production. Our main focus on AB InBev was digital marketing and developing innovations through service design and user experience thinking.
