A client of mine based in the Antwerp area is searching for a BI Analyst with good knowledge of Power BI on a freelance basis. My client can offer the successful BI Analyst a long term (12 months with extensions) freelance contract and up to 3 days of remote work per week! Objectives: - Join the team and help with reviewing the current BI Environment looking to optimise and improve data models and data visualisations. As well as working on the migration projects from SAP BI to Power BI (Environment involves Azure, Datalake etc…) - Gather requirements from stakeholders. Create user stories from scratch by speaking with the business, finding out how they use the data, what they would like to do with the data etc… - Take these requirements and user cases and translate them into conceptual data models. - Create briefings for the data engineers who will implement/deploy your models/plans. - Once these are implemented, you will need to create the final view and create data sets in the power BI platform. Required: - Strong Power BI Experience/knowledge. - Knowledge of SAP BI. - Experience writing SQL (to create tables etc…) is considered a bonus. - Experience with Kimble is also considered a bonus. - Dutch speaking. Details: - Location: Antwerp (Up to 2 days of remote work per week) - Contract Length: 12 Months+ - Start Date: ASAP Remote Work: 3 days of remote work per week
