Description

I am currently working with a Food and Beverage client of mine who are looking for an EIA Engineer who can start somewhere in October. · Participate in the design of the electrical, instrumentation and automation aspects of projects: a. electrical installations: establishment of electrical power and control plans, installation plans of installations, lists of equipment, list of cables, list of engines, lighting, fire protection... b. instrumentation: drafting and verification of instrument lists, I/O list, control valves list, RIO cabinets, SVB, ... c. Automation, programming: writing and checking hardware and software lists for PLC/DSC/programming, imaging and interface , control loops, functional analyses, IT/network link... on the basis of the needs issued by the project managers and existing technical standards in order to ensure that these new installations have the expected functions on the one hand and that they have a sufficient level of safety, quality and reliability on the other hand. · Participate in the drafting of calls for tenders for electrical work, instrument placement and programming work. To analyse the offers received and participate in the selection of suppliers in order to allow the market to be put into competition and to select the best technical-economic solution. · Participate in the drafting and updating of standards and specifications electricity, instrumentation and automation of the site. · Be able to assist the construction monitoring team in the monitoring aspects of electrical and automation sites: a. ensure safety during construction sites (monitoring of safety procedures, preparation of work permits and their validation, field monitoring, participation in site meetings, ...) b. Plan, organize and supervise electrical and automation projects in collaboration with the parties concerned in order to maximize their efficiency and minimize their impacts. · Carry out and document the tests (FAT, SAT, commissioning) of the electrical and automation equipment ordered / installed in order to guarantee its quality. · Carry out and document the commissioning tests of new electrical installations/PLCs in order to guarantee the proper functioning of the installed systems. · Participate in the administrative work of preparation, monitoring and finalization of projects in the field of electrical work, instrumentation and automation to ensure the traceability of the various stages including the management and transfer of documentation.
