A manufacturing client located in the Brussels region, I am searching for a freelance Functional Analysis for a long-term assignment. As a functional analyst, you provide the link between business and developers. You collect and analyse business requirements and needs in order to arrive at a fully functional analysis. Role: · Define the architecture of database systems · Analyze user needs for decision support in order to model databases · Propose technical solutions for the provision of decision support systems · Define security and confidentiality strategies for data made available to company users or external customers · Create and maintain relational and multi-dimensional databases, datawarehouses, data dictionaries (datamarts), data exchange systems (ETL, EDI), reporting solutions, data mining, "business intelligence " · Develop standards, conventions and best practices for the development of relational databases · Take an active part in the various projects concerning the ICT department as a whole by acting as an expert in the aforementioned fields · In coordination with the "database administrator", ensure the technical maintenance and the provision of data in order to ensure the continuity of the company's business; ensure technological watch and regular monitoring of the various systems. Skills: · You have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. · You are experienced in writing user stories · Familiar with Agile / Scrum · Any experience SQL server (SQL programming, T-SQL, ETL (SSIS), reporting (SSRS)) · Datawarehousing (SSAS) · You are curious about new technologies, and you are eager to learn and solve complex problems. · You are fluent in English but the local language of French · Duration: 12 months+ · Start date: ASAP
