Description

Currently, we are looking for a Master Data Specialist to join one of our international clients for a freelance role in Antwerp, Belgium. Duration is for 11 months with an option of extension. Description of the project: The Master data specialist will enable processes within the E2E supply chain. The Master Data Specialist will have two main missions (50/50): • Master Data Orchestrator for a transition project • Senior Master data Specialist for general activities Tasks & Responsibilities: The Data Master Specialist will have a key role in harmonizing processes within the Supply Chain. Master Data Orchestrator for the transition project: • Ensure continuous alignment of the operational priorities across the teams, for our two main product types • Assess technical feasibility of change requests • Support the introduction of new products thanks to input documents, technical systems and tests in a development environment Senior Master data Specialist for general activities: • Improve and harmonize the management of Master Data processes within the E2E platform • Development of Master Data governance • Perform user acceptance tests • Support and manage global initiatives in SAP and OMP+ • Follow GMP and safety regulations • Lead data collection and entry processes for master data elements in SAP and OMP+, related to Material Master, BOM/Recipes, Production Versions, (time) standards, relationships and offsets, resources: - initiates (technical) changes to the systems - critically checks supplied data, checks against (technical) specifications and instructions, and translates into the Master Data structure of the systems - performs Master Data creations/changes right first time in accordance with the applicable procedures and input supplied - be the point of contact for troubleshooting and root cause analysis on Master Data-related issues. - coordinates master data changes at the site supporting large projects impacting the systems’ setup of data. - prepares or adjusts, Master Data work instructions Skills that are required: • Data Processing system (SAP) • Supply Chain Management / Planning systems (OMP preferred) • Testing tools(JIRA preferred) • Manufacturing execution systems (MES or SAP-PES preferred) • GMP documentation tools (Trackwise /TrueVault preferred) • Ability to coordinate, lead and influence and give the right priority when processing data • Strong analytical and quantitative skills • Understanding of production and packaging processes • Knowledge of Supply Chain and Planning knowledge • Ability to translate Process requirements into accurate Master Data settings • Ability to acquire the overview and judge the correctness of a multitude of data originating from multiple departments, systems • Ability to process, follow up and extract various data from various systems, Data Analytics • Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English required
