Job Title: Senior Business Functional Analyst Job Type: Freelance Location: Brussels, Belgium (hybrid work) Duration: 12 months (with possibility of extension) This role is for one of the major energy companies in Belgium, as they are searching for a collaborative and independent Senior Business Functional Analyst. Job Summary: As a Senior Business Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional specifications. You will work closely with our clients to identify their needs and design solutions that meet their business goals. You will also collaborate with our development team to ensure that the solutions are technically feasible and meet the client's requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Gather and analyze business requirements from clients and stakeholders - Develop and document functional specifications that translate business requirements into technical specifications - Collaborate with the development team to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements - Create test plans and test cases to ensure that the solutions meet the functional specifications - Develop user documentation and provide user training - Provide technical support to Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, computer science, or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in functional and business analysis or a related field - Experience in the design and development of software solutions - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Experience with Agile methodology - Fluency in English and Dutch or French
