To strengthen our Strategy & Airport Business District (ABD) departments, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager for the Project Management Office team. As a Senior Project Manager you are co-responsible for the management of a specific project, the Airport Business District. You report functionally to the Head of ABD, you are also part of the Strategy team. The Airport Business District aims to further develop the airport into an economic center with the best airport in Europe. It aims to develop economic activities within an urban context, in addition to the airport activities, and connected to a mobility hub, the intermodal hub. The program consists of the development of an office buildingc. 25,000 to 35,000 m² with supporting retail and parking functions; Specifically, it concerns: • An office building of +/- 25,000 to 35,000 m² with supporting retail and parking functions • A 4/5-star hotel with +/- 150 rooms • An intermodal hub with potential to integrate in the longer term with terminal expansion; • A boulevard for public transport; • Construction of outdoor space, including the plaza in front of the departure hall. Your flight instructions: • Follow up and coordinate different workstreams within your portfolio (Finance, Procurement, Enabling Projects, etc.) • Coordinating external key stakeholders within your scope (Infrabel, STIB, Skeyes, etc.) • Responsible for internal reporting within your workstream • Act as an interface for product, project, customer and information flow • Ensuring cooperation and monitoring interdependencies between the ABD and other projects within BAC. • Monitor and adjust to increase efficiency, reduce risks, identify changes and propose alternative solutions • The senior project manager heads the multidisciplinary and cross-departmental project team and must also manage any external partners in the project • The senior project manager is responsible for the integrated project budget (including budget components construction, IT, commercial, etc.) • The senior project manager also acts as an ambassador of the standard project management methodology. • Monitoring the realization of the program objectives and the progress of the projects • Ensure that all workstreams are on the same page and help achieve the ultimate goal Your Profile • You have at least 7 relevant experience in project management • You have experience and thorough knowledge of starting up large construction projects • You have a proven experience with prioritization in complex environments, management reporting, communication, cross-departmental mechanisms and process improvement • You show excellent organizational talents, strong communication skills and have experience with negotiation strategies • You have a good knowledge of Dutch, English, French • You have a Master's degree, preferably supplemented by an MBA • You have knowledge of PMI methodology (PMBok) or other equivalent methodology • You have a highly developed strategic insight
