AXA Global P&C: Strategy • Developed worldwide strategy of AXA Corporate P&C, focusing on SMEs instead of large companies to achieve top line growth, reasoning that more customers with smaller premiums instead of a few large customers with high premiums will achieve diversification benefits and higher revenue growth. P&C Retail: Value Management & Actuary 
 • Performed independent study on recourse to create more accurate models to predict the amounts that can be recovered after pay-out (+55M euro). Exposed data inaccuracies that significantly improved the quality of the reserve calculations. P&C Retail: IT Project Management • Created a rule engine to automate the acceptance and pricing of insurance contracts, eliminating manual interference and allowing online subscription of new contracts. P&C Retail: Product Management • Upgraded AXA’s number 1 fire insurance policy in Belgium “Cosymo & Cosymax” by lowering excessive base coverage, therefore lowering the base premium the customer must pay and making the product more attractive vs competitors. Financial Direction: Strategic Cost & Portfolio Management • Performed financial controlling of projects portfolio (+100M euro) ensuring project investments are aligned with company strategic plan. • Managed financials & presentation on a company-wide organisational restructuring program, which resulted in a > 15% FTE reduction and liberated financial resources to invest in digital channels.• Ensured efficient team collaboration by organising CFO town hall meetings and strategic alignment meetings with the +80 employees working in the CFO scope, therefore ensuring employees are informed and feel engaged about the company’s mission and vision. In addition, mentored 2 management trainees in the nuances of working in a multicultural business environment. • Led a team of E&Y consultant to create from scratch a framework to monitor the profitability of the products of AXA Bank by developing a company-wide, product-based cost allocation. This profitability view is used extensively by product management as well as on a company-wide level by Board of Directors and Management Board. In addition, the reporting is automated in ANAPLAN, which resulted in a recurrent 1,5 FTE cost reduction therefore recovering the entire project cost e.g. cost of consultants and IT licenses.

• Vesalius Biocapital VC fund - Risk & portfolio management / Financial controlling – From scratch developed a risk management framework for 300M€ AUM venture capital fund. In addition, developed a dynamic portfolio simulation tool in order to project timing and returns of investments. • Danone - Pricing strategy / Commercial controlling / Project Finance – Ensured the financial reporting for Dairy Danone Belgium is timely delivered and of excellent quality.
